You struggle to accept,
That which you cannot see.
You deny a real essence,
Unique to you and to me.
You say you know me well,
But fail to realize,
You know only your vision,
It is you to recognize.
You refuse to accept life’s burdens,
Those we all must face.
You reject the simplest facts,
To continue to self abase.
You must know yourself, my friend,
Your spirit in decline.
You must defeat your poverty,
For the pure love of self, is divine.
