How should love be shown?

I’m curious, do all people demonstrate their affection for another in the classic romantic manners of the movies and novels?

Of those that do, can you tell me if that truly makes a difference or are there other acceptable ways to demonstrate your love for another.

Now, before anyone chews my head off, I want to explain something here. I’m not against the romantic love as seen in movies and novels but I am against fake demonstrations of love.

Anyone else ever heard this phrase? “You have to love me for me! Accept me as I am!”

Umm, nope, I do not have to love anyone period. I love those I choose to love and I show my affection for them in a thousand different ways, but I don’t say I love you 100 times a day, nor will I kiss you if you smoke.

Why you ask? Because you didn’t smoke when I fell in love with you, your smoking clings to your clothing and hair and I don’t kiss ashtrays.

Will I still love you? Yes.

How about hearing this: “Why don’t you snuggle and spoon with me in bed?”

I’ll start with the smoking issue here and add on, you breath also smells like stale beer and vomit, you just puked all over the bathroom and I think you forgot to unzip your pants to piss.

Will I still love you? Yes.

Why can’t we afford to go on a nice vacation like others do?”

Since you’ve been using your credit card everyday to buy packs of cigarettes for $8.00 each in your fancy bars, I’ll start with your smoking. I’ll follow that up with the bar tab receipt you dropped showing how much you enjoy aged Scotch and imported ales. Last, but certainly not least, let me mention the money you lost at the casino when you said you were at your friend’s house. Don’t worry, I covered the car payment but there may be an issue with the rent again, and it was nice of the Casino to take your car keys and send you home in a cab.

Will I still love you? Yes.

By the way, I forgot to mention someone by the name of Kelly, not sure if it’s a guy or a girl, keeps calling for you. Won’t tell me what it’s about or give me a number for you to call back. Not sure what it’s all about but the last call came in from a state STD clinic.

Will I still love you? Yes.

You ask why there is no longer any affection between us, it’s pretty simple.

I love you, always have and maybe always will, but now I have to love me more.

Have we lost all reason?

This morning I woke up to the headlines that the State of New York is now basically proclaiming the title of Infanticide Capitol of the World.

Wow, what a success to write to your grandchildren about. Er, wait, if they’re murdering innocents, you may not have any grandchildren. As a matter of fact, if you promote mass infanticide you may not have any children period.

I won’t apologize for my opinion that anyone and everyone who believes in and supports non-essential abortion on demand is a criminal; a murderer of the innocents. Those who profit from these murders are beyond redemption as humane people.

I’m not an innocent soul, I fathered a child out of wedlock when I was nineteen. That was back in the days when they only performed abortions in the very early stages of pregnancy by doing Dilation and Curettage (D&C) procedures:

D&C (Dilation and Curettage) Procedure: Surgery and Recovery

My child, a girl, was born and immediately given up for adoption by her mother; I had no say in the matter, nor was I allowed to see my biological daughter. I did learn, many years later that she was adopted by a wonderful couple who could have no children. They loved her from the first moment they met and, to the best of my knowledge, still do.

Now days, we don’t hear stories like this. What we do hear is how professional, for profit, infanticide factories murder the innocents for their body parts.

What has become of humanity in America?

What gives anyone the right to murder an innocent who may have the genetic makeup to do great things in our world? Perhaps another Einstein, Peter the Great, Michelangelo, Madame Curie, Rosa Parks or Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.? Yes, or maybe a Hitler, Stalin, Caligula or Jack the Ripper; we don’t know, but can we take the risk?

Who will hear the cries of pain when the infant is torn from the mother’s womb? Who will hold that child close while he or she suffers the poison injected into his or her brain?

Is there a place on this earth for the discards known as “aborted fetuses?” Are they burned in crematoriums like the Jews, or thrown in pits like the Armenians? Are they thrown to the wild animals in the mountains the way Russians once did?

Who will mourn for the innocents? Who will answer their pleas of

“WHY?”

“WHAT DID I DO?”

“HELP ME MOMMY, IT HURT SO BAD!”

There are very few legitimate reasons for abortion, but thousand of reasons against it; each one, an innocent.

Have we, as humans who claim to care, lost all reason that we must punish the innocents for our failure to think, to care and to acknowledge our mistakes rather than bury them.

“Why mommy? What did I do?”

On Being Alone

I wonder how many people really know what it’s like to be utterly alone in our busy world?

I’m not talking about just having no close friends or family, I’m talking about having no one.

Imagine yourself moving to a large city where you know no one. All you have are your clothes on your back, a candy bar and a half bottle of warm water. Suddenly, everything you once knew is different; alien to what you thought. Even people you once thought friends, now seem to be strangers ignoring your silent pleas for help; some will, but most won’t help – you’ve become a leper.

You don’t know anything about where you are, nor do you know anyone to ask. You have been abruptly cast out of your home with no money, no food, very little clothing, no transportation, and the list of noes goes on until it comes to, where do I go to the bathroom? What do I use for toilet paper? How can I bathe? I have no toothpaste! Where can I lay down; be safe and out of the weather to sleep? Rather than looking through the store windows as you walk, you look down; searching for lost change, dropped jewelry, anything of value to buy you a hot meal, or even a hot cup of coffee.

Now repeat that feeling every day for the remainder of your life because this is the life of a homeless person who moves from one city block to another.

That’s the life of a homeless person; an experience I led for a while.

I find it tragic that when I hear someone say, “That woman is begging to can get money for dope!”

How do you know that; maybe it’s the sallow looking kid holding her hand that gave you a clue?

The flip side of the coin is the clean, groomed younger person standing by the freeway ramp with a sign that says; “Homeless, need help for food.”

Is he lying? One might think so, but then perhaps he knows a gas station that has a bathroom where he can clean up before panhandling? We don’t know.

Whatever the case, being entirely alone with no one to turn to is the most horrifying experience we can experience. There is no age restriction for the homeless; you’re accepted whether you’re 105 or a newborn, but I feel those who suffer the worst may be the elderly who have no one to turn to for a hug, a chat and perhaps an I love you Grandma. The emptiness is unlike any feeling I’ve ever had, and I don’t know how to explain it. I pray no one else ever has to feel it.

Being alone is painful enough, but being homeless and lonely is life destroying.

Thank you for your gift.

Just before Christmas, you left. You finished packing, took the couch and wide screen TV I bought you, and you left. Am I supposed to mourn?

After you were gone, your friend, the one you claim was going to commit suicide if you left, sent me a rather immature, nasty note filled with half-truths and outright lies about why you left. I laughed when I read the part about how you stopped this person from acting against me, because you left! Should I cry and wail because you left?

No, there are no tears to cry, nor recriminations to feel because you left me long ago.

You left me when you decided our home was your hotel room with the full maid service.

You left me when lied to me about going to college while I was working an extra job so you could.

You left me when you started drinking heavily and finding excuses for the damage and lack of maintenance for the three used cars I bought you so you could get to school.

You left me when you cheated and ended up with genital herpes.

You left me when the hundreds of dollars I spent to get you periodontal care so you wouldn’t lose you teeth, was wasted because you were too lazy to follow the dentist’s directions.

You left me when you decided you didn’t have to repay money I loaned you, even after you proclaimed on numerous occasions that you always pay your debts.

You left me when you decided your only responsibilities in our home was to sleep, shower, watch anime and other childish TV shows while making a mess in the kitchen which, of course, I always had to clean up.

You left me when you started coming home drunk, smelling of cigarettes and cheap cigars and, on occasion, your own puke, and wanting someone to cuddle you.

Worst of all, you left me when you refused to communicate without telling me lies.

There is more but it’s no longer of use to talk about them because you will probably never read this; you will simply say, “It was all his fault.”

So I say this, to you, and those like you, thank you for your gift of leaving. It means more and more to me every day to know I tried, and you failed.

What have we become?

Requirements to become a Senator in the United States Senate.*

The Constitution sets three qualifications for service in the U..S. Senate:

  1. Age (Minimum of thirty years old)

2. U.S. Citizenship (At least nine years)

3. Residency in the state a senator represents at the time of the election.

The details of these qualifications were hammered out by the Constitution’s framers during the Constitutional Convention in 1787. https://www.senate.gov/senators/qualifications_termsofservice.htm

Frankly, I think the framers should have done a lot more hammering on this. For instances, there is no requirement for the ability to read, write or even speak American English. Nothing said about having any form of criminal background or foreign allegiances which are in conflict with the American agenda(s). How about drug tests, tax records or traffic tickets for that matter.

There are no requirements other than the three mentioned, to become a powerful person in our government. No skills, knowledge, experience or other useful training or abilities needed I guess.

Terms or service:

Article I, section 3 of the Constitution requires the Senate to be divided into three classes for purposes of elections. Senators are elected to six-year terms, and every two years the members of one class–approximately one-third of the senators–face election or reelection.

Oath of Office:

The Constitution does not provide an oath of office for members of Congress, but specifies only that they “shall be bound by Oath of Affirmation to support this constitution.” The Oath of Affirmation that one-third of the Senate recites every two years is a product of the 1860s, drafted by Civil War-era members intent on ensnaring traitors. The oath-taking, however, dates back to the First Congress in 1789. The first oath served the Senate for nearly three-quarters of a century. The current oath, in use since 1884, is a milder version of the oath adopted in 1862.

Note: “Inspired by British precedents, delegates to the 1787 Constitutional Convention set membership requirements for both the House of Representatives and the Senate. These requirements included age, citizenship and residential qualifications. The delegates specifically left out property ownership and religious requirements. While British law of the time banned anyone born outside England, Ireland or Scotland from sitting in Parliament, the newness of the American colonies, and the fact that nearly everyone at the time came from somewhere else, necessitated the looser residential and citizenship limitations for the U.S. Congress.” https://www.reference.com/government-politics/qualifications-becoming-u-s-senator-fa906092922b7ae4

Impressive, right? Here we the criteria for someone to be in control of our country and our future! Makes me shudders, but does explain the presence of some of the current members of our Congress.

Is it any wonder, that the so many of the Democrat monarchists are attacking President Trump for his policies and decisions? My God people, his hair has more qualifications than many Senators and Representatives currently in office. He’s a poker player playing against a table of childish playground bullies, none of which offers any abilities or skills that even come even close to my Algebra skills, and I flunked it.

If we are to survive as an independent nation, we must address and amend our requirements for our potential employees in our Congress. We must outline the skills and abilities needed to bring American back into the realm of a fair and honest sovereign nation independent of foreign interference.

No personal offense to Ms. Ortiz, but the kid at the local Schnuck’s (yep, it’s a family owned market) has more knowledge, experience and savvy that

she would gain in a dozen terms in office. He has powerful tools at his disposal such as his logical thinking, honest dealings and ability to see beyond the BS factor. His H.S. GPA is 4.0 and he can recite the Constitution without making a mistake. Is he qualified to be a leader in our country? I say, more so than Ortiz, Schumer, and Pelosi combined.

We need to amend our Constitution and modernize the requirements we needed to be a member of our Congress. We need term limits, not just to bring in fresh new ideas and leadership, but to increase the level of logic and intellect in our employees aka Senators and Representatives.

We must also define and enact strict rules against fraud committed by potential and actual members of our Congress. Here I speak to those candidates who run for office with one party then switch allegiance to another after being elected. That is fraud, plain and simple.

All candidates must have a working knowledge of our Constitution, Bill of Rights and how our government and be most transparent and productive.

Last, but definitely not the least, is the need for improved paths to the removal of our Congressional employees if needed. There must be established and enforced rules of conduct that, if ignored, will bring down the immediate wrath of the voters via a special committee of voters appointed to hear and judge the accused(s). We must demand an end to the practices of our Congressional employees judging and disciplining themselves; giving themselves raises and perks, and using taxpayer funds to buy themselves out of self-made problems.

We, the American voters and taxpayers must understand that those we elect are our employees, not nobility of a self-made monarchistic agenda.

*Stay tuned for my opinion on the House of Representatives.

I don’t understand…

I consider myself to be well informed on current affairs in America, and I like to think I understand both sides of each argument but the wall issue has me confused.

There are no indigenous peoples in the western hemisphere, we are all immigrants that, as far as Anthropology can discern to date, originated in Africa. We all came here, we all settled here and we all took, or stole if you prefer, the land from the original occupants, the flora and fauna. Thus, in my mind, no human being has the right to claim indigenous status.

Given recent anthropological discoveries throughout the “Americas,” the question of who were the actual first peoples is in question. But does it make a difference now; will knowing who was here first correct the problems at our borders? No, of course not because since the time the first homo-sapien evolved in Africa, we have struggled to control our own lives and destinies by conquering and forcibly assimilating first the flora then the fauna and eventually other homo-sapiens.

The problem for me in this scenario is that who, and or what was the first homo-sapien – male or female and, here’s the kicker, who did he, or she, mate with to create more homo-sapiens? If you read the Bible, in Genesis, you learn that “God” created man from which he took a rib to create woman, then told them to go forth and multiply, with no sex manual by Dr. Ruth I might add. But they accomplished the task initially having two boys, Cain and Abel; if you read the book, you know Cain slew Abel for reasons unimportant to this story, and that he was cast out of the family.

Cain left town, met up with a woman, they had kids and…whoa? If “God” created the “First Man” and the “First Woman” where did Cain’s wife come from? OK, now I’m more confused than before, and I think that’s what’s going on with most Americans over this border issue – confusion and speculation sans actual facts.

Was Cain’s wife an illegal immigrant? Were her relatives legal? We don’t know, nor do we know about those trying to march into America uninvited and illegally. Who are these people pounding at our gates?

President Trump, on the recommendation of the Homeland Security Staff, the Border Patrol and private citizens living along our southern border has determined that an appropriately designed and constructed solid barrier is needed to stem the flow of drugs, human traffickers, criminals, gang members, terrorists, and illegal immigrants, among other undesirables from entering our country.

In his proposal to our Congress, those who claim to represent all of us taxpayers, the President has outlined how he would build the wall, add additional staffing to our Border Patrol, and upgrade security electronics along the border, and what it will cost (estimated at less than $ 50 billion).

With a current estimated taxpayer burden of $ 150 billion per year for illegals in America, the continuous illegal immigration costs could double, perhaps even triple that. Seems to me that what President Trump wants makes, if nothing else, financial common sense., however, a good substantial portion of those who claim to represent American taxpayers state the President is playing politics and they refuse to help.

Almost every day, at least once a day, I either hear or read comments from Democrats berating our President and claiming to have proof from “experts” on border control who state a wall would be ineffective. My only problem with this is, they never cite (name) those “experts” nor provide easy routes to verify their claims. It’s like, “I am a Democrat! You will take my word for everything and never challenge me!”

Sorry dude (dudette?) but not this old fart. You make a claim, you substantiate that claim with proof positive. Hell, I learned that the hard way.

What this all comes down to for me is this; the Democrats, who I prefer to refer to as the neo-Monarchs, have declared they will, once in power, spend millions more taxpayer money investigating and attacking President Trump while illegal immigrants, terrorists, drug dealers, human traffickers, and other criminals continue to ply their trades unchallenged in America.

Now I may be an old fart, but I’m not a crazy old fart. As I see it, the Democrat monarchists have but two goals; destroy President Trump and control taxpayer money. The tragic part of that is the Democrat voters who will also lose if the monarchists take over; who will they cry to then?

Pelosi has proclaimed the wall to be immoral, but can’t define why? Perhaps it has to do with the alleged drug smuggling operations of her two daughters who claimed immunity because they are her “aides?” It would be so immoral if they had to go to prison for 30+ years.

Whatever excuses the Democrat monarchy has for not funding the wall to protect Americans, they are wrong. It’s past time to listen to those who fight the battles on the front lines every day and stop playing politics with our lives.

I’ve often been asked: “Exactly what do you do?

The answer is actually pretty simple; I’m a Freelance Writer and Editor.

Whether it be a simple letter, a resume, an essay or dissertation, my job is to help you put your thoughts and ideas on paper in American English. I have experience working with students and professionals from all over the world helping them to express themselves in the complexity that is our American English language.

My fees vary by type, complexity, and size of your paper(s).  By taking advantage of the internet; I can work from my home and keep my costs down. That translates to savings for you.

Key factors to remember are:

Lead time – it takes time to do the work, if you need help, send me a copy of your draft outline, along with the due date when requesting a quote. If you are a student, your teacher must provide you with a syllabus and instructions for your writing assignment; include those with your request. Research takes time and details. Example: When citing a book, you must provide the ISBN of the book along with the pages you are referring to. If I have to research it for you, it will cost more. If your citation does not have an ISBN or another publication number, then cite your source in detail. If you do not do this, you risk being challenged for plagiarism.
Questions? Answers cost nothing, give it a try; drop me a note.

How Political Correctness Destroys Communications

I had a very interesting experience the other day at the AT&T store. I stopped in to get some help and a young black technician assisted me. He was very polite, extremely intelligent and from somewhere in Africa.

For those who haven’t noticed, I have very long blonde hair, and I will admit I get a lot of compliments on it, especially since I’m 75-years-old.

So what happened?  I’m glad you asked.

This young man, through a natural instinctual impulse, asked me about my long hair. He wanted to know if it was real, natural and what it felt like.

He said; “It looks like silk, may I touch it?”

I said yes, please do and so he did. He told me he had never touched a white person’s hair before. “It feels so different than mine. Thank you for permitting me to learn.”

Did you get that last key word? “LEARN”

Was it politically correct for me to allow him to answer his questions, or should I have denied him access as it would have been politically incorrect?

Know what? I don’t care whether it was or not, he was curious, polite and honest in wanting to know and understand. He formed no opinion of my whiteness or my politics, he merely communicated his desire to learn.

Why can’t we all do that? Why can’t we communicate our desires to learn about others?

I made a new friend at school. A brilliant and motivated young man who has physical challenges that make getting to and around the campus difficult, but he does it without help. As a matter of fact, he declines offers of help if he knows he can do something by himself.
He’s great to talk to but a little difficult for me to hear as I am going deaf, but believe me when I say, this young man has boundless wisdom and kickass determination to accomplish his goals. But he is always alone in his struggle because other students and many faculty members are too politically correct challenged to step up and communicate that they don’t understand what drives him and what he needs to excel.
I believe that political correctness has made these people very insecure. They want to know, they want to understand, but they don’t dare ask.
It is because of this that my friend often sits alone, at a table in the library. When he sees me coming, his face lights up and get excited because I come to see him, to talk to him, to communicate with him, to make him feel a part of the student body, to let him know he is important.
As we sit and talk, I often see other students furtively looking; I can sense their questions and insecurity. They too have challenges, they too need real friends, and they too, need to learn how to communicate as my friend does. But how?
Is it politically correct to invite oneself into another’s conversation? Sure, as long as you’re polite. Is it politically correct to ask about a person’s obvious physical challenges?Sure, if it’s done politely. Is it politically correct to offer assistance when concerned?Sure, if you see a need and ask if you might be able to assist. Is it politically correct to say, “I want to be your friend, will you be mine?” Who cares if it’s politically correct or not, making a new friend is more important than being politically correct. Is it politically correct to ask what causes a person’s challenges?Sure, my friend doesn’t want pity, he wants understanding and communications.
I wonder what would happen if those who sit and stare got up, walked over to my friend and said: “Hi, I’m …., may I ask you a question?” Would that be communicating, or would it be politically incorrect?

Drag Queen v Tranny

Before I launch into this discussion, I want to be perfectly clear that when I refer to a male, I am referring to a biological male and when I refer to a female, it is a biological female. I only make this distinction for purposes of clarification.

Recently, I’ve seen articles about how liberal controlled schools are introducing elementary age children, grades 1 thru 5 to the world of the “gay and transsexual culture” by inviting Drag Queens into the classrooms for a form of show and tell(?).

Where do I begin to express my concerns over this blatant display of discrimination against the LGBT society and cultures as well as to straight people?

I’ll begin by saying that I feel employing the average Drag Queen to give presentations about gay life to young children is not only detrimental to the future mental health of children but is a direct insult to the larger LGBT community.

If our liberal schools are going to introduce specific non-mainstream cultures to our children and grandchildren, shouldn’t they also be offering presentations by Transsexuals, Transgenders, Leather, S&M, B&D and other groups equally active in the “sub-strata” of our society? From my perspective, I feel that the Drag Queen agenda is more about getting attention than about a sexual identity. Drag Queens are the Divas extraordinaire of the makeup cosmetics industry; entertainers in their own art form but they are not indicative of the average Transsexual. In fact, if I were a transsexual or a transgender I think I might be insulted and demeaned by the very thought of a Drag Queen lecturing anyone on Transsexualism. To quote a friend, “it is like trying to compare an Edsel to a Lamborghini; it’s just not happening!”

Is it an art form? Perhaps, but so too is body-building, transsexualism and just being straight or gay; that is if we act ourselves as we understand and accept ourselves don’t we really become ourselves? Isn’t that the ultimate goal of a Transsexual?

I feel that if schools want to introduce students to the gay culture, they should invite not only Drag Queens but Transsexuals, and mainstream gays such as doctors, lawyers, teachers, police officers along with members of every other profession in our society. I’d be willing to bet there would never be a shortage of gay people willing to step forward to talk about themselves as people, not sex objects or actors, but people.

Furthermore, if they are going to have an honest open forum, the guests should be seen in their normal daily attire, not in theatrical costumes. The only rule would be that each guest must appear as themselves, not as the character they play. I believe the difference between each of the three guests will be very evident to the children without explanation.

Now, back to the original question: Drag Queen v Tranny.

My opinion: the difference is America’s Got Talent v Lives of American Transsexuals; one person’s theatrical skills v one person’s survival skills.

Which do you want your child to learn?

President Trump is a Nationalist? omg!

So what is a “Nationalist?”

Damn glad you asked.

Definition: “person who strongly identifies with their own nation and vigorously supports its interests, especially to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations.” (Wikipedia)

OK, so do we have a Nationalist Party in America, and if so, who and what is it?

As far as I know, we do not have an official Nationalist Party in America. we have groups that may claim to be, such as the “White Nationalists”, “Black Nationalists” and I think even some First People might refer to themselves as Nationalists; Lakota, Cheyenne, Cherokee, Ojibwa, Menominee, Navajo, and, whoa, wait, aren’t those “Indian tribes?” Nope, those are First People’s Nations aka Native Americans (Indians come from India) who are members of their own nations most of which have sovereign reservations where the Nation is headquarters.

So how does this fit in with what President Trump said about being a Nationalist?  Umm, not a lot, but it’s a great bit of information to help understand the principle of Nationalism.

Ok, I get it now, but what is Nationalism?

“Nationalism is a political, social, and economic system characterized by the promotion of the interests of a particular nation, especially with the aim of gaining and maintaining sovereignty over the homeland. The political ideology of nationalism holds that a nation should govern itself, free from outside interference and is linked to the concept of self-determination. Nationalism is further oriented towards developing and maintaining a national identity based on shared, social characteristics, such as culture and language, religion and politics, and a belief in a common ancestry. Nationalism, therefore, seeks to preserve a nation’s culture, by way of pride in national achievements, and is closely linked to patriotism, which, in some cases, includes the belief that the nation should control the country’s government and the means of production.” (Wikipedia,*)

Yep, despite claims by the anti-Trumps, this perfectly describes President Trump and his agenda for America.

Here’s your assignment for the day: Can you pick out three concepts in the definition of Nationalism that directly relates to what the anti-Trumper’s are fighting him on? When you do, as yourselves this: who’s right for the America you want?
